Drone use in Provincial Parks are subject to the Saskatchewan Parks Act Regulation and Transport Canada’s Canadian Aviation Regulations. Provincial Park Regulations prohibit drone pilots from disturbing and harassing wildlife; and from annoying or disturbing people.
Flight Rules requires pilots to maintain at least 30 meters (100 feet) horizontal distance from any person and at all altitudes. For provincial parks, the Flight Rules will result in drone pilots being unable to fly drones in campgrounds; swimming areas; beaches; and playgrounds in use.
Please contact the park office for areas within the park that are compatible for drone use.
