- Drone use in Provincial Parks are subject to the Saskatchewan Parks Act Regulation and Transport Canada’s Canadian Aviation Regulations. Provincial Park Regulations prohibit drone pilots from disturbing and harassing wildlife; and from annoying or disturbing people.
- Flight Rules requires pilots to maintain at least 30 meters (100 feet) horizontal distance from any person and at all altitudes. For provincial parks, the Flight Rules will result in drone pilots being unable to fly drones in campgrounds; swimming areas; beaches; and playgrounds in use.
- Please contact the park office for areas within the park that are compatible for drone use.
Gem Lakes and Lost Echo Lake campgrounds will be closed for the entire 2025 season. The rest of Narrow Hills Provincial Park will remain temporarily closed due to wildfires until May 29, 2025. Saskatchewan Provincial Parks is actively monitoring the situation and will advise if the closure is extended. For more information on wildfires in Saskatchewan, please visit the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency website.
