A valid vehicle entry permit is required for all vehicles while in a provincial park.
Daily entry permits are valid from time of arrival to 2:00 p.m. CST the following day. Not transferable between vehicles. Lost, stolen, or damaged passes will not be refunded or replaced.
Weekly entry permits are valid from time of arrival until 2:00 p.m. on the last day (7 days later). Not transferable between vehicles. Lost, stolen, or damaged passes will not be refunded or replaced.
Annual entry permits may be transferred between vehicles; valid in any Saskatchewan Provincial Park from May 1 until April 30 of each year; no refunds once issued; lost or stolen passes will not be refunded or replaced.
Stand-alone daily and weekly entry permits (those purchased without a corresponding camping reservation) are non-refundable; however, valid permits may be reissued to facilitate a correction to permit dates or vehicle licence plate information in advance of the permit start date. This request can be made in advance of arrival by emailing parks.info@gov.sk.ca or upon arrival at the park. Changes are not permitted after the permit start date.
Valid daily or weekly park entry permits may be upgraded to an annual park entry permit if the permit has not expired. Daily or weekly park entry permits cannot be upgraded if the expiry date has passed.
You are required to carry or display proof of purchase when arriving at the park either by having a digital or printed copy of your entry permit.
Saskatchewan residents 65 or older (or turning 65 years of age any time during the current year) and providing valid Saskatchewan identification, can receive a free park entry permit. Senior entry permits are available in-park only.
First Nations, Métis and Inuit individuals can receive a free park entry permit with proof of valid Certificate of Indian or Métis Status.
Métis individuals with recognized Aboriginal rights in the north (see Treaty and Aboriginal Rights for Hunting and Fishing Guide for details) and First Nations individuals practicing their Treaty right to fish for food and, in parks where hunting and trapping is permitted, to hunt and trap for food, can receive a free park entry permit with a valid Certificate of Indian or Métis Status.
If entry permit is not presented upon arrival at the park, the purchase of an additional entry permit will be required. The additional entry permit is non-refundable.
Annual park entry permit holders shall not sell their annual entry permit to another party.
