- Check-in time is after 2:00 p.m. CST. Check-out time is before 12:00 p.m. CST.
- Sites will be held for 24 hours past your scheduled 2:00 p.m. CST check-in time. If arriving more than 24 hours late, you must notify the park directly. A no-show will result in a penalty of up to four nights of camping being charged.
- Permit holders shall not rent, sell, sublet, assign or otherwise transfer their reserved campsite to another occupant.
- If you have a valid vehicle entry permit and a reservation, you can proceed directly to your campsite. You will be automatically checked in.
- Quiet time is 24 hours a day.
- If you bring different equipment than what you reserved a site for, the park may not be able to honour your reservation.
- A maximum of two vehicles and one watercraft are permitted at each campsite at any time, providing the site will accommodate them.
- Up to six people may occupy a single campsite unless they are all members of the same immediate family unit. A responsible person (18 years or older) must be a member of the camping party each night. An immediate family unit includes parents and their children or dependents permanently residing in the same household. Additional occupants may be allowed only at the discretion of the Park Manager.
- Only one camping unit (a tent, tent-trailer, camper, camper truck/van, camping trailer or motorhome) is permitted on each campsite, along with one small tent and one screened tent for meal purposes (if campsite size permits).
Guidelines for equestrian camping in provincial parks
- Cleaning stock trailers within park is prohibited.
- Stalls, pens and paddock are provided. You may bring your own corral panels or electric fence if desired but they must be erected within the fenced grazing paddock.
- Please keep pens and stalls clean.
- Stallions are allowed into the park for day-use only.
- Please stay on designated trails or riding areas. Permission is required on private land.
- Only commercial processed feed is allowed into the park such as feed bagged pellets or cubes and rolled oats only. Hay is not permitted.
- In the event of high fire hazard conditions, steel horse shoes will not be permitted.
Additional guidelines for equestrian camping at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park
- Campers must bring their own water for personal use, or water can be obtained at one of the water spigots in the northeast area of the park.
- Corrals, tie stalls, and water for horses are also available.
- Stock trailers with living quarters are allowed in the camping area, but unloading must be done in the designated area.
- Riding areas are accessible from the camping area. Horses are allowed in the pens or pasture area adjacent to the campground. Please ensure a pen is vacant before occupying it. Tying or hobbling of horses in the campground is prohibited.
- Ensure that you clean up after yourself and your horse (i.e. garbage, manure, etc.).
- Horseback riding is allowed south of the South Saskatchewan River on both sides of Highway #4. There are no designated trails or horseback riding, and horses are NOT allowed on the park’s interpretive trails.
- Horse drawn wagons are not allowed in the park.
- You may bring your own feed pots and you may bring your own corral panels if desired, but they must be erected within the larger corral and removed when you leave.
- You may bring a hay fork and rake. You are expected to clean up any pens that you use. A manure trailer is provided on site. Cleaning stock trailers within the park is prohibited.
