Pet Friendly Parks
Your furry four-legged friends are always welcome in our provincial parks! If you’re looking to take your pup for a swim or want to ensure they have a safe, enclosed space for a game of fetch, consider booking your stay in one of the following parks that feature additional dog-friendly amenities.
Blackstrap:
- Off-leash dog park
- Location: Pelican Point picnic area
Candle Lake:
- Dog beach
- Location: Minowukaw Beach, Sandy Bay Beach and Waskateena Beach (on leash only)
Duck Mountain:
- Off-leash dog park
- Location: Old ball diamond area beside the tennis courts in the core area
- Dog beach
- Location: Down from the dog park near the camp kitchen (not at the main beach). Look for Signage
Echo Valley:
- Dog Friendly Hiking Trails & Dog Friendly Echo/Pasqua Day Use areas
- Off-leash dog park
- Dog beach
- Location: Pasqua Lake
Good Spirit Lake:
- Off-leash dog park
- Location: Beside the cook house - in the day-use area
- Dog beach
- Location: Approximately 500 meters inward on Dune Discovery Interpretive Trail
Greenwater Lake:
- Off-leash dog park
- Location: Near the firewood compound north of Aspen Grove campground
Moose Mountain:
- Off-leash dog park
- Location: Just off the west side of Arcola Road near the White Tail Trail head Also accessible by a trail from Fish Creek D campground
Rowan's Ravine:
- Off-leash dog park
- Location: Old tree nursery
- Dog beach
- Location: North of the west beach
The Battlefords:
- Off-leash dog park
- Location: Near the games area in the center campground (behind site #203)
- Dog beach
- Location: South of the main beach
General rules and pet etiquette:

Pets must be on leash at all times, with the exception of designated off-leash areas (parks and beaches).

Pets must be vaccinated and registered with their local municipality.

Owners should be mindful of fellow campers and keep pets quiet.

Pets should be picked up after immediately.

Pets are not permitted in public structures, beaches or in swimming areas (watch for pet friendly signage).
