September 17, 2022
If you love hiking in Saskatchewan but are new to hiking in the backcountry, this event is for you! The day will begin with an education session followed by a guided hike on the Gold Creek Loop of the Boreal Trail. Pre-registration is required for this event.
Suitable for ages 12+
Join local trail experts, Park Interpreters and Conservation Officers to learn tips, tricks and facts that will help you confidently explore the Boreal Trail.
Did you know that the Boreal Trail includes many bonus loops and trails? Even when you've hiked the trail from the East to the West, there's always something new to discover. Pick up some backcountry tips with local experts as they teach you about Meadow Lake Provincial Park and the flora and fauna that make their home here.
The fun doesn't end when the trail does! Meet our guides back at the trailhead to socialize, ask questions and share your experiences.
